Edge IQ collects only the personal information needed to run the service, and never sells it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Edge IQ (edgeiq.com.au) is an Australian horse racing analysis and selections service. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@edgeiq.com.au.

What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to provide the service:

Contact details — your name and email address when you join our mailing list, contact us, or become a member.
Membership and payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see, collect or store your card details; Stripe provides us with your name, email and subscription status so we can deliver the service. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Usage information — like most websites, we use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and approximate location. This information is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

How we use it

To deliver memberships — sending selections, editorials and member resources to the email address you provide.
To respond when you contact us.
To send mailing list updates and offers if you have subscribed — every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate.
To understand site usage and improve the service.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to any third party.

Third-party services we rely on

Edge IQ uses a small number of reputable providers to operate: Stripe (payments), MailerLite (mailing list and member emails), Formspree (contact form delivery), Google Analytics (site analytics) and Netlify (website hosting). Each handles data under its own privacy policy, and some may process data on servers located outside Australia. We choose providers with recognised security and privacy practices.

Cookies

The site uses cookies for analytics purposes. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to function.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. If you cancel your membership or unsubscribe, we remove your details from active mailing lists.

Access, correction and deletion

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@edgeiq.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first; you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Age restriction

Edge IQ is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with its effective date.
