Questions & Answers
Everything you need to know about how Edge IQ approaches Australian horse racing — the method, the membership, and the records behind it.
Edge IQ is a data-driven Australian horse racing analysis service built for long-term punters. Each week we break down form, speed, race shape, tempo and market behaviour — combining quantitative data with experienced race reading to identify value where the market has it wrong. The focus isn't volume or hype; it's disciplined selection, transparent tracking and long-term performance.
We analyse each race to estimate a horse's true winning chance, then compare that to the market price to find overlays — runners priced longer than they should be. We do not provide personalised staking plans or tell members how much to bet. Results are recorded at flat 1-unit stakes and reviewed, so members always know exactly where the service stands rather than relying on cherry-picked highlights.
Edge IQ returned +145.05 units in 2025 to flat stakes, fully tracked. We don't chase losses, inflate results or sell shortcuts. That said, racing is unpredictable and past performance is not a guarantee of future results — all wagering carries risk.
There are weekly and monthly subscriptions that include a free trial, plus flexible prepaid packages. The current options and prices are on the home page pricing section.
We concentrate on Australian thoroughbred racing across the major metropolitan meetings in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, with selections issued across the card rather than a single best bet.
Yes — free to read. Our stewards reports page carries clean, readable summaries of major meetings: track conditions, race-by-race observations, late scratchings, fines and the stewards' summary. They're a great companion to our tips and a useful form tool in their own right. New to the terms? See the racing glossary.
A unit is a fixed measurement used to report performance independently of dollar amounts. For example, +145 units means +145 times the base unit used for tracking. This is for transparent results reporting only — it is not a staking plan or a recommendation on how much to bet. There's more on this in our glossary.
No. Edge IQ does not provide personalised staking plans — we don't tell you how many units to place on each selection. We track our own results to flat 1-unit stakes for transparency. What we do provide is a guide to help members set their own staking plan: understanding flat staking, percentage-of-bank approaches, and the principles behind responsible bankroll management. That keeps you in control of your own wagering decisions.
No. Edge IQ provides general information and analysis only — it is not financial or wagering advice, and there is no guarantee of performance. All wagering decisions remain the sole responsibility of the individual. If gambling is affecting you or someone you know, call Gambling Help on 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au.
